Anna Nicole I Intro
Anna Nicole Smith was born Vickie Lynn Hogan on November 28, 1967 in Houston Texas. Her mother had her at an early age in life and was not financially stable or in a stable relationship. Anna moved in with her maternal Aunt when she was in 9th grade to a town called Mexia , Texas . She failed her first year at high school and dropped out her sophomore year. She allegedly hated high school because the kids made her life a living hell by bulling her because she was a bigger girl and didn’t come from money.
Early Years
Marriage, Stripping, Playboy, & More
She took a job working at Jims Krispy Fried Chicken where she met Billy Wayne Smith who was a cook . The couple fell in love and she married him at 17. Soon after, she gave birth to her first child in 1986, Daniel Wayne Smith, who later died in 2007. Anna wasn’t making enough money, so she ventured into being a stripper at a local night club where she met billionaire J Howard Marshall, who was in his late 80s when they met. He became one of her regular clients at the strip club. In 1992 she submitted photos she had taken with a professional photographer to Playboy, and by March of 1992, she was on the cover of Playboy as Vickie Smith.
Anna Nicole I Modeling Years
Anna’s curves and plus size figure, with the fusion of her Hollywood glam look and sex appeal, put her on the map! She soon secured modeling contracts as a Guess Model, and even H&M to which the billboards were so scandalous it allegedly caused car accidents.
Aside from her modeling career, she was also in small roles on film and TV eventually getting a leading role in a 1996 action film called Skyscraper…which was low budget, direct to video, and terrible.
Anna Nicole In Court
After Anna’s husband J Howard Marshall passed away, she got caught up in major court battles for his estate which had several litigations over the course of her life. Her fight for her inheritance from J Howard Marshalls estate even went up to the level of the Supreme Court, and was reviewed by Ruth Bader Ginsberg .
On May 1st, 2006, the United States Supreme Court unanimously decided the case in favor of Anna Nicole Smith on the question of federal jurisdiction. What this essentially meant was that she was given the “ok” to continue the legal battle for her inheritance. The state of California ultimately awarded Anna Nicole Smith with an $89 Million dollar judgment from late husbands estate. However, in Texas, this would not be the case. In life and death, Anna Nicole Smith & her estate ( after death), would lose this legal battle.
The Anna Nicole Show
By this time she was in financial ruin and needed to re-invent her career, coming out with her own reality series which sort of made fun of her life and exploited her bizarre behavior. The Anna Nicole Smith Show lasted only 2 seasons in the early 2000s. After her show ended. She went on to be an endorser for the diet pill (another pill) Trim Spa to which she lost a lot of weight and looked like how she used to, re-inventing her self again.
Anna Nicole I Relationships
Around this time she has several on and off sexual relationships. Howard K Stern, her lawyer who lived with her…her body guard… etc. She allegedly had a lesbian relationship with a motherly like figure while she was with J Howard Marshall in the 1990s.
Clown Makeup Video
On September 7, 2006 Anna gave birth to her second child Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern. Who the father was became another legal battle, since multiple people claimed to be the father. In 2006 during her pregnancy, there was a notorious video scandal. The video depicted Smith wearing badly painted clown makeup, and high as a kite while pregnant. She acted bizarre, and thought a doll was actually a real baby. This video became part of the scandal with her lawyer, Stern. This issue would be brought through the court system years after the fact. Stern was ultimately found innocent of any wrongdoing.
The Passing Of Daniel
The day after the birth of Anna Nicoles baby daughter, her son Daniel dies in her hospital room from a drug over dose. Methadone and anti depressants. A jury in the Bahamas ruled it to be an accident. He was buried in the Bahamas. During the funeral Anna had asked for them to open his coffin. Upon opening the coffin that was about to be lowered she had tried to climb inside with him stating “If Daniel has to be buried, I want to be buried with him”. Shortly after she has a commitment ceremony with her lawyer Howard K Stern. Not legally binding though.
Anna Nicole Smith In The Bahamas
Anna Nicole Smith & Howard K Stern chose to live in the Bahamas to avoid paternity testing for her daughter. The basis of Smiths permanent residency status in the Bahamas was the claim that she owed $900k On a mansion which was allegedly given to her from a previous BF who was a real estate developer. Eventually this past lover sued and had her evicted from the property, having her kicked out. Upon clearing out the mansion, they had found methadone in the fridge.
The Death Of Anna Nicole Smith
On February 8, 2007… Anna Nicole Smith was found dead in room 607 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. She had died of a drug overdose, it was ultimately ruled as an accident. It was reported that eight of the eleven drugs in Smith’s system, including the chloral hydrate, were prescribed to Stern, not Smith. Additionally, two of the prescriptions were written for Alex Katz and one was written for Smith’s friend and psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich. Perper acknowledged that all of the prescriptions were written by Dr. Eroshevich
The Funeral
After Anna’s funeral, which created legal issues between her mother and Howard stern (where to bury her….Bahamas or Texas) and the Mothers Bizarre behavior at the funeral…. We come to find out that her daughter’s birth father isn’t Howard Stern her lawyer, but her bodyguard Larry Birkhead. Less than $1mil had even gone to her daughter via the will.
